In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors and Queen's apartments) our guide will enthrall you on the life of the Kings. After the visit, enjoy free time visiting palace gardens.
The Fontainebleau Palace was lavishly built and furnished in Renaissance period style and was a favorite hunting residence of the French Kings. The apartments recently restored were occupied by Napoleon and are included in this tour.
Our half day tour to Fontainebleau includes a short stop at the Barbizon village which has been known as an artistic centre since the 19th century when Jean-François Millet and Robert-Louis Stevenson lived there.
